Keep the good stuff

The useful answer
Lodo helps you review recurring subscriptions from connected-account information and find supported cancellation guidance. It can help surface the payment and the next step; you decide whether the service is worth keeping and complete any required provider action.
What to know
- Recurring charges can reveal a subscription you forgot about.
- Payment data does not show whether you used or enjoyed a service.
- Save the provider’s confirmation when you cancel.
Find the payments that quietly repeat.
A small monthly payment rarely feels urgent. The problem is remembering every service across cards, bank accounts and app stores. A recurring-payment review brings the visible charges into one conversation so you can decide what deserves attention.
Ask Lodo about your subscriptions and look at the amount, frequency and account. If a charge is unfamiliar, identify the billing company before acting. A card statement name can differ from the service you recognise.
Keep, review or cancel.
Give each subscription a job. Is it something you use, something you deliberately keep for a specific reason, or something you cannot explain? A good review protects the things you value as well as removing the things you no longer need.
The annual equivalent can make the decision clearer. An illustrative £14.99 monthly service costs £179.88 over twelve payments. That does not mean it should be cancelled. It means the decision is now about a visible amount.
Get to the right cancellation route.
The business billing you is the starting point. A subscription bought directly may be managed on the provider’s site; one bought through an app store may need to be managed there. Lodo can help with supported cancellation instructions and, where available, a prepared email draft.
A draft still needs to be sent by you. A request still needs the provider’s response or account confirmation. Keep that evidence and check the next billing date so the task does not quietly reopen.
Make the review easy to repeat.
Review subscriptions around a familiar moment, such as payday or a monthly money check. Annual renewals deserve a place in the same routine, even when they do not appear in a recent month’s transactions.
Use the subscription calculator to annualise the costs you enter. It works without a bank connection and is a useful way to see the size of a decision before making it.
